We begin today with Jesus teaching about the nature of the father. He will lovingly reward us fairly and most likely we will get the same reward regardless of when we accepted Him. It may have been early in life or late. God is just and give all who trust in His son the life He has promised.
We're experiencing the lat week of Jesus' life. He is preparing the twelve for that and the mother of James and John asked for seats of honor in the Kingdom. He said whoever wants to be first must be last (must serve or be their servant. "For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many.” Jesus then healed two blind men and they followed Him.
In chapter 20 Jesus made His triumphal entry Jesus was in the center of the procession, and the people all around him were shouting, “Praise God[d] for the Son of David!Blessings on the one who comes in the name of the Lord! Praise God in highest heaven!” and the entire city of Jerusalem was in an uproar.
He proceeded to clear the temple told the parable of the dishonest farmers who did not pay the landlord the rent (a share of the crop from the vineyard). He told them Vs. 43 "I tell you, the Kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a nation that will produce the proper fruit. 44 Anyone who stumbles over that stone will be broken to pieces, and it will crush anyone it falls on.” (NLT)
We are to be good stewards of what God has entrusted us with, His kingdom. How are we doing? As we pray for guidance God is faithful show us His will. We should pray for the Lord of the harvest to send workers into the field and be open to what He does next.
