Ephesians 6

We start today being encouraged to have good relationships with parents, co-workers and each other. This includes working well together, and being compliant. That is hard as we work with different ages of children and youth that may not get any instruction here. Prayer helps immensely in my leadership and to be able to work well with others. Eph 6:6 "Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart; 7 With good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men: 8 Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free."
The other area is to be strong in the Lord. We start with understanding the tricks of Satan to deceive us. Can you imagine living your whole life only to realize you had been tricked the whole time? That is why we need to use all the tools and protection to be able to make progress in our offensive here. Salvation, prayer, righteousness, God's word and power, faith, the gospel of peace and faith are great places to start.
Our loving Father has given us what we need to prevail in every area. I believe He has great things in store for those who take Him at at His word and step out in faith. Hope you have a great day in the Lord.

2 Corinthians 5

We start today looking at the earthly tent we live in as temporary. This temporary tent or body will be for a permanent one formed by God. We all long for the heavenly dwelling place the Father has created, to be with Him, spending time with God in fellowship with our Father so we can be fully clothed and not vulnerable to disease, pain, and weakness...4"so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life. 5Now it is God who has made us for this very purpose and has given us the Spirit as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come." God always gives us what we need to have life to the full. 9"So we make it our goal to please him, whether we are at home in the body or away from it." In this world of selfishness and instant gratification we must hear this from the Lord in order to make this adjustment. A person will not be able to change a self-centered heart. Only the God that created it can change it.
This change is the work of the love of Christ and it compels us to be ministers of reconciliation. We are ambassadors of Christ and appeal to everyone to be reconciled to God - 21"so that in him we might become the righteousness of God."
Psalm 16:2 tells us "I said to the LORD, "You are my Lord; apart from you I have no good thing."
So I encourage you to remain in Him to become the image of our loving Father in Heaven, for apart from Him there is no righteousness.
