Psalms 105 is a recollection of God's powerful deliverance. We should remember how the Lord brings us out of bondage with an inheritance that is to be used by Him in our lives. He will do this in a miraculous way to bring others into an understanding of God's incredible love and presence in the lives of His people. Where are you today? What mountain do you need moved? Trust in the Lord and give it to Him in prayer knowing and believing He will answer and you will see God bring you from where you are to where you never imagined you could be.
Psalms 106 continues the story of the people of God. They knew the ways of God, but kept walking in disobedience until He was ready to pour out His wrath upon His people. 23 "So he said he would destroy them— had not Moses, his chosen one, stood in the breach before him to keep his wrath from destroying them." (NIV)
Who has God chosen you to stand in the gap for? I believe if we stand in the gap in prayer and go to those He has placed in our lives with the message He has given us, the consequences of their behavior will be forgiven. James 5:16b "The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. 17 Elijah was a man just like us. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years. 18 Again he prayed, and the heavens gave rain, and the earth produced its crops. 19 My brothers, if one of you should wander from the truth and someone should bring him back, 20 remember this: Whoever turns a sinner from the error of his way will save him from death and cover over a multitude of sins."
Who is the Lord prompting you to pray for today? Pray believing God will do this and see what He will do.
Galatians 5 tells us we are to live in the and we will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature. Legalism causes us to live in the flesh and not in the spirit where there is victory over the sinful nature. When we live by the spirit of the law and not the letter of the law we can truly find freedom in Christ. If the law was sufficient then Christ died for nothing. God is just and loving and would not send His Son without good reason. He knew the consequences of life apart from Him and Jesus willingly took on the task. Where are you today with the Lord? He knows and you know. He wants you to come back to where He tells us we should be and remain in Him.
